Sophia Agranovich, a multi award-winning pianist, recording artist and educator, is “a bold, daring pianist in the tradition of the Golden Age Romantics”, “a tigress of the keyboard” - Fanfare. She holds Bachelor & Master degrees from Juilliard where she taught piano on a Fellowship and continued Doctoral studies at Columbia University. Among her prestigious venues are David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Salle Cortot, Ehrbarsaal. Her discography and live concerts are broadcast worldwide, and have won top international prizes and rave critical acclaim. She is a NARAS voting member, Program Chair of Music Educators Association of NJ, and an Artistic Director at the Watchung Arts Center.
