I make song mashups, which are two or more songs mixed together. Fundamentally, it's the vocals of one song layered over the instrumental of another. I've always found it fascinating how the result can sound like a new song in itself, or an alternate version of the original.
Typically, I make pop music mashups that suit my personal ‘campy’ taste in music, and usually with songs from my favs like Ariana Grande and Britney Spears. (absolute pop legends).
