In 1948, our parents, Alvin and Milly Kinnard, had a dream: to start their own family dairy farm. They started with 14 cows and 80 acres, using money borrowed from their parents. Through Mom and Dad’s progressive approach and commitment to hard work the farm prospered and grew. Our newest barn was built in 2015.This land is special, because our farm is built on land that has been farmed by five generations of our family. That’s why we’re here and why we’ve stayed. Mom and Dad taught us that caring for the land is the foundation of everything we do. Although the look of the farm has changed, our commitment to caring for the environment remains stronger than ever. We’re proud their values of stewardship and responsibility live on.
Our parents’ goal was to build a business that would last for generations, and it has. We feel fortunate to be working together as a family to help keep their dream alive, and build new opportunities for our community.
