Qasim Malik (born October 10, 1994) who records under the name of Qpid, is an upcoming Canadian rapper/r&b artist. He was born in Pakistan and moved with his parents along with his two older brothers at the age of 6 to Scarborough, Canada. At a really young age, he was exposed to the hip hop culture as he started listening to artist such as Alicia Keys, Eminem etc. In 2003, his parents moved to Mississauga where he attended three different elementary schools and ended up attending a high school called St. Joseph Secondary School where he began his passion for rapping in grade 10. At the age of 16 Qpid did his first performance in London, Ontario with a fellow you tube artist named Kayla Stewart. Ever since than he's been working on perfecting his skills and is currently about to release his first upcoming EP/Demo Mixtape called "One Step Forward" this upcoming fall of 2012.
