Alexandre de Orio is a guitar alumnus of FAAM. Postgraduate in Musical Language and Structure and in Music Higher Education. He studied Jazz Improvisation and History of Brazilian popular music at UNICAMP 's master degree course.
As the guitarist for the band CLAUSTROFOBIA he released five albums. He played with several important bands in the metal scene and toured in Brazil and Europe.
He is a member of KROMA ELECTRIC GUITAR QUARTET, whose first album "Kroma", was released in 2001; the second album will be released in the beginning of 2012 and will have illustrious special guests such as Heraldo do Monte, Vera Figueiredo and Roger Moreira.
He took part in the project "Mostra Guitarras do Brasil" that gathers important names of the history of the guitar in Brazil since the 1940s; in this project Kroma represented the 2000s.
Teaches guitar, acoustic guitar, harmony, theory and ear training.
