37mph is Music Director, Film & TV composer and Producer hailing from King William’s Town in the Eastern Cape who harnessed his musical genius when he was attended Dale College High – playing the piano and being in the school choir. By 2003, at the tender age of 22, he began his music career after leaving the University of Cape Town to join recording label Ghetto Ruff where he created music alongside talent such as RJ Benjamin, Jozi (Bongani Fassie, Da Les and Ishmael), Gumshev, Gift Gwe (Idols SA runner up 2005), Morafe and also worked on two songs for Academy Award winning movie Tsotsi’s soundtrack.
