Joanna K was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. She studied singing and took vocal lessons from great teachers like Julie Massino, Eva Vasiliadou and Elsa Mouratidou. She became known to the public from Fame story TV show in 2002. She has also collaborated with the famous singer Giannis Vardis for the Greek semi final Eurovision contest in 2003 taking the second place She is working as a vocal teacher at AMS (About Music Studios and lessons) music school of thessaloniki and as a session singer in various clubs singing R&B, Pop, Rock and Jazz. She has also collaborated with various local bands such as White Chocolate, Remake, One Take, Funcode and more. She is currently in the process of recording her own original music and works with talented musicians and artists.
