Thing is...it's a fucking dreadful song. Lyrically it's meaningless, it's pompous in the extreme, tries too hard and attemps to incorporate four genres for no fucking reason. Queen's first three albums are great but, like U2, they lost it and became too big for their boots and took themselves too seriously. For the rest of their career (from A Night At The Opera) they stank. Deacon had the grace to exit after Mercury's death but the other two shills have been milking Mercury's legacy ever since and should be ashamed. Taylor is a ponderous drummer at best and, whilst May is a great guitar player, he is an utter knob who's greatest concern in this world of mayhem is badgers. As for the song Teo Torriatte May needs to go lie down and consider his life. Fucking boorish prick that he is. |
