Welcome to the channel! This channel features songs from old hindi films and also some non filmi ghazals, geet and bhajans in the voice of Leena Haldipur (formerly Bailur). Leena made her debut as a child artist on 'Ubharte Swar' on All India Radio Lucknow where she also won several singing competitions. After graduating from Bangalore University, Leena moved to Mumbai and trained under Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan saheb, and continued peforming on AIR Mumbai. She was also mentored and trained by music director Jaidevji and music director Shyam Sagar ji. With their encouragement and support Leena entered the All India Sur Singar Samsad playback singing competition where she was one of six finalists along with Kavita Krishnamurthy, Hariharan, Suresh Wadkar. Soon after, she married and emigrated to the U.S where she has performed widely both on TV in New York and Boston, and on stage and private concerts.
