I am a development journalist. I specially work on farming and farmers of Bangladesh for nearly three decades now on TV. Started my career from state-run Bangladesh Television. Mati O Manush (Soil & Men) is the programme I worked for 14 long years until 1996 with BTV. Later with some very good friends we started Bangladesh's first digital private satellite TV Channel i in 1999. Since, 2003, I started a new agricultural documentary, titled, Hridoye Mati O Manush (Soil & Men in Heart). The programme has now become my agricultural agenda. Following Hridoye Mati O Manush, I started Hridoye Mati O Manusher Daak (Postbox of Soil & Men in Heart) on Channel i which is a face-to-face farmer and policy-maker TV dialogue show. Then, another programme on BTV, known as, Krishi Dibanishi (Agriculture: Round the clock) came alive in my hands. I am the Director, Presenter and Planner of these programmes.
