Vedanth Bharadwaj is a multifaceted musician and music composer who dabbles in several genres of music ranging from Indian Classical to Blues.
He composes music for films, advertisements, theatre and dance productions. After scoring music (with Bindhumalini) for the blockbuster Tamil feature film Aruvi he debuted in Hollywood as music composer for the musical His Father's Voice.
Vedanth is known for singing songs of mystic saint poets form the Bhakti and Sufi traditions. He performs live at several music festivals at prestigious venues in India and across the world.
Vedanth has formally learnt Carnatic, Hindustani and Western classical music and is under the tutelage of Sri Ramamoorthy Rao.
He is the director of the Chennai Children's Choir, a choir of children from economically challenged backgrounds, who represented India at the Serenade Chorale Festival and sang at the prestigious Kennedy Centre in Washington DC.
