Skint Records is a Brighton based dance music record label founded by JC Reid, Tim Jeffery and Damian Harris in 1995. It was created as a sub-label of Loaded Records and was at the centre of the big beat music scene of the mid to late 1990s.
The label's roster at this time included scene leaders Fatboy Slim, Bentley Rhythm Ace, The Lo-Fidelity Allstars, Hardknox, Midfield General and Freq Nasty. Skint's eclectic taste later shone through legendary techno artist, Dave Clarke, electro anthems from Alter Ego, electronica outfit FC Kahuna and synth pop band, Mirrors.
2017 saw signings of the queen of the underground Maya Jane Coles, infamous disco-house unit Hercules & Love Affair and many more to come.
