I am Kazi Abeed Lateef having MS in Aquaculture, & BSc. fisheries (honours) from Bangladesh agricultural University, Mymensingh. I joined in service in Department of Fisheries, Bangladesh, has been suggesting fish farmers since 1985. After 13 years of my service I completed my MS in aquaculture in which I carried out 3 research regarding the nutrition of fish. Now I am also a fish farmer from 2011; whether acquiring my practical knowledge from field.
I will request the marginal fish farmers to visit my channel www.youtube.com /c/Abeed Lateef.com who like to continue their fish culture using different local low cost ingredients surrounding them as rice straw, grass, aquatic weeds to reduce the cost of fish culture. And I suggest the farmers to manage their water body by using low cost local ingredients like salt, lime, CuSO4, yeast, molasses.
My target is to minimize the feed cost by using cheap ingredients. Thanks!
