Night Over Alaska, also known as NOA, is a band of five members from Fairview, Quezon City. Formed in September 2017, the first lineup of the group was Patty Balanay on Vocals, Neil Junsay on guitars, Nelson Peralta on bass and Kate Noquiao on drums. During that time, they were also taking up their respective college programs at UE Caloocan and FEU Diliman. Even as students, they perceived that making music together felt like finding their Aurora borealis, the light in the dark night sky in Alaska, hence the name Night Over Alaska was inspired.
In February 2020, they were able to release their first single, '143' on Spotify and all major streaming platforms. NOA became and official roster of YR Music in May of 2022 with the newest addition to the band, Bern De Ramos on guitars. Equipped with inspiration to write songs, the band is thrilled to release more under YR Music.
