I make knives focused on function, and performance.
I do not focus on making pretty knives with appealing looking finishes.
These are the least important features of a knife, and the ones most used by many to gloss over and hide the fact that the knife itself may not be of the highest performance..
Every knife is a compromise between a range of features to create a good working tool. Nothing can do everything, though a few can be very good at a wide range of tasks.
I am not a fulltime-professional knifemaker. This is not a business to me.
What sets me apart from many "professionals"?
I explain the good and the bad.. I put myself and my opinions in front of the camera and clearly explain why i feel knives work, or dont work.
I actively educate people to look after their knives and use them better.
