Tudla Productions is an alternative, non-profit group of filmmakers, students and cultural workers that utilizes different media in drawing attention to the plight and struggle of marginalized sectors in the urban center and to issues of national significance.
Since its inception in 2003, Tudla (literal translation, to target) has been mainly producing social documentaries and newsreels. Among its landmark full-length works are Daangbakal (Steeltracks, on the demolition of the urban poor community in the railways) and Sa Ngalan ng Tubo (In the Name of Profit, on the struggle and massacre of the sugar plantation farmers and workers of Hacienda Luisita).
TUDLA Productions Group, Inc. is based in the National Capital Region (NCR) of the Philippines. Tudla works hand in hand with different people's organizations in the NCR as well as cultural organizations and institutions for the advancement of various social and artistic advocacies.
