Drawing from my lifelong passion and my own experiences and knowledge of both judo and jiu jitsu, I have always been on the path to opening Dojo Outfitters, it was only a matter of time before I realized that tatami has always been under my feet.
I started judo at the age of 13 at a small, humble dojo on the island of Oahu, HI. My success in judo eventually crowned me team captain of the prestigious San Jose State University Judo Team. During that time I traveled the world, training in Japan and competing all over Europe. Upon graduating, I eventually fell in love with jiu jitsu, where I am currently working towards my black belt.
Judo and jiu jitsu has given me so much, basically my entire life was built in and around the dojo. This unique lifestyle that we live deserves to be shared and discovered by everyone. That's why I built Dojo Outfitters, to meet people and to learn and share their stories.
