Born into a family of Colombian pioneers in visual arts I knew from a very young age that my artistic roots would guide me in life.
I work with film, lighting, video and photography.
My fascination with shapes, shadows, light and nature led me instinctively toward video and television, where I rapidly pushed the frontiers.
I am an award winning broadcast video journalist and still photographer with more than 30 years of experience in all areas of photojournalism emphasizing in top technical skills as photography director, lighting, editing, sound and production of special events.
After working with CNN, NBC News, Univision I decided to establish my own visual arts company, Harold Garcia Studios.
