Here in Italy food is very important, I mean... it's not that whatever I cook has to be a masterpiece, but more "let's make something really tasty, something special".
It can be a simple dish (more often), or something more challenging. While cooking I witness the miracle of transforming food in an experience. Traveling back in the past, I see myself as a child, helping my mum preparing sundays lunches. My mum used to do the same thing with my granny, in south Italy, where my family roots are.
