Why did I start a Needle Felting channel?
Because I 'felt' like it!
Never mind. What is Needle Felting?
Wool can be sculpted into various shapes and forms by using special grooved needles. These 'wool shapes' can then be used to make sculptures of different things e.g. animals, people, objects, food etc. I enjoy making monsters, Dragons and other various creatures.
I am also known by my artist name 'Starwave Dragon'.
Cool, can I try Needle Felting?
Of course. However, it is a craft that requires a lot of patience. First, I would recommend buying a cheap beginners pack from a craft shop to see if you enjoy it. Following that, purchase a starter pack online (e.g. eBay, Etsy) that has different wool colours and various needle gauges. There are online felting tutorials and books to help on your felting journey. My channel has some simple tutorial videos that you can try out too!
