My name is Matthew Vere, but when I created this channel back in 2014, I used the artist alias 'Vanity' for my electronic musings.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Audio Technology, I started Beats by Vanity TV because I couldn't find the tutorials I wanted to watch.
The 'In The Style Of' tutorials is my ongoing series that deconstructs the sounds of your favorite electronic artists.
In addition to these tutorials, I release audio sample libraries on Samples by Vanity. These libraries are used by artists such as Porter Robinson (1B+ Streams), Lakey Inspired (250M+ Streams), and Øneheart (1B+ Streams), as well as Grammy award-winning producers of Demi Lovato, Eminem, Madonna, Lil Wayne, Travis Barker, Jennifer Lopez, and others.
