Nia Velkova is a Bulgarian pop singer-songwriter established in the UK.
Nia’s first release “Nosish go i ti” comes out when she is just 17 due to her participation in a 3-month program for student development and career orientation where she did a project with her mentor Pancho Karamanski consisting of a song and a music video clip. After the release of the project, she went to a couple of radio interviews, to the BG Music festival where she performed with other popular artists in Bulgaria which was aired on the TV. In addition, Nia collaborated with two UK music producers Gaz & Tim on a song of theirs called “30 seconds”.
Nia’s music interest starts when she is 5 years old and begins to go to a choir. At the age of 9, she starts individual vocal lessons. Nia has been to lots of singing contests in Bulgaria, Israel, Italy, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Russia and so on.
