Not one child, mother, brother, sister, father, cousin, nephew, uncle, aunt, grandmother, or grandfather has ever, ever, died from ingesting marijuana in the entire 5,000 years of mankind's recorded history.
Yet just possessing marijuana will land you in jail and could even get you killed, by our own government.
What prohibition has done is guarantee that society has no control over marijuana. Producers and sellers are unlicensed, untaxed, and completely unregulated.
Unlike licensed businesses that sell liquor or tobacco, marijuana sellers operate virtually anywhere and have no incentive not to sell to children or teens. Prohibition guarantees that marijuana will not be inspected for purity or labeled for potency. And it ensures that the only people selling marijuana will be criminals.
Drug Prohibition has failed...
Now more than ever, We The People, need to stand up and be counted and demonstrate our support for the legalization and regulation of Marijuana.
The economic and social benefits of legalization and regulation drastically out weigh the costs (over a trillion) and devastating impacts the drug war has inflicted upon our nation and our own people.
The purpose of our documentary, Think for a Moment,is to provide the facts about reality of this drug war and to dispel the hyperbole "myths" surrounding Marijuana prohibition and why our nations laws need to be changed.
We'll be interviewing some of the top speakers, medical patients, doctors, lawyers and community leaders from around the country who believe we must continue fighting the information war the "establishment" continues to shove down our throats.
When we're finished our objective is to get Think for a Moment aired in as may markets as possible, make it available free to a variety of non-profit organizations to utilize as both a educational tool for their events and fund raising opportunity for their respective missions.
