I have metastatic breast cancer, spread to the liver, abdomen and lungs, which means it is terminal. I have been blogging about cancer since I was first diagnosed in 2009, at Breast Cancer? But Doctor, I hate pink. www.butdoctorihatepink.com. I have been doing chemotherapy for six years. I have had a lot of treatment aside from chemo: I have had half my liver removed, and done microwave ablation as well as gamma knife radiation. I nearly died of sepsis. I have had two remissions but cancer is relentless. I continue to fight it off with chemo - I am on my 9th regimen. I'm like a cat with 9 lives, only I'm on my 11th!
It kind of sucks to know you are going to die of cancer but I'm still here and enjoying life so why not have fun?! I hope to share reviews of products that are good for cancer patients as well as vlog some of the experiences you go through when you have cancer. I hope to help people learn about this disease.
