Wondergel is the first recording band from the 90s indie scene of Jakarta where all the personnel are female. They released one full album (self-titled) under the label of M Music Production / Musica with four radio singles namely Cermin, Pesona Indah, I Miss You and Jalan Yg Sama.
Disbanded in 2000, in 2017 Wondergel held a reunion concert after a total of 17 years on hiatus from their musical activities. In 2019, this indie pop band from Jakarta reunited - from the six of them became a duo, namely the founder Meita Kasim (songwriter / vocal / spoken words) and Diah Rajanti (guitar / vocal), who joined Wondergel since year 1995. They also released a come back single entitled Di Bangku Taman (Levi the Fly producer) and in 2020, their second single The Guiding Lights released.
