The World Bodypainting Festival (WBF) held in the South of Austria has become the melting pot and gathering of artists from 50+ nations.
The massive growth of this festival has also been the platform for the development and awareness of an art form that twenty years ago was not known. It has also given birth to many projects around the globe in the name of bodypainting. It has given inspiration, wonderful challenges and opportunities to artists from beginners to the advanced. Simply, the WBF is considered to be the founder of the modern bodypainting movement.
Outside of the Festival we are organizing a lot of other smaller events, as well as education programs (WB Academy) and we are featuring activities of members of the World Bodypainting Association as well as interesting stories around the art of bodypainting.
