Golam Sohrab Dodul is a renowned bangladeshi filmmaker, story writer,singer,lyricist, screen play writer and actor. He has received two Charunidam Awards on 2015 and 2017 for Best Director, as well as the RTV Star Award 2017 for Best Director. In his early career as an actor, he has received the National Film Award for Best Junior Actor in 1991. His debut film Shapludu received a National Film Award for Best Actor in Negative Role.
His training in music started from an early age, when he learned to sing and became proficient in multiple classical instruments including the Tabla and Harmonium. Dodul was also an enlisted singer for BTV for the years 1994 and 1995.
