Stony Brook SC is a youth soccer club based on the north shore of Suffolk County on Long Island, NY on the campus of Stony Brook University. We offer Elite, Travel, Developmental and Intramural levels of play. Our mission is to develop youth soccer players to the highest level of their ability and desire, while providing them with an environment where:
The players are free of adult and peer pressure,
Character is developed through fair play and team work,
The players are continuously challenged,
Ample opportunity is given to train outside the team environment,
The players are given the chance to take risks,
The players are provided the appropriate level of training and competition,
The players can develop a love for the game of soccer.
With the above in mind, we expect players to graduate from the Club with a solid foundation in the aspects of teamwork, fair play, solid fundamentals of the game of soccer and have had the chance to reach their personal goals.
