I think that the only way to be is lookin' forward towards the future while we remember how far we've come and always learn from it. Instead of walkin' around with a chip on our shoulder and thinking that the world owes us something, (which it doesn't) just be positive and try to find a silver lining in every single situation.
People are not inherently bad. Everybody has something good in them. It's as if we are mining for diamonds. First, you have to dig through lots of dirt until you find the precious gem. If people would give everybody a fair chance to shine, there would be so much less hatred and fewer wars in the world. Everybody deserves a chance to prove themselves.
