Piccolo Gardener was founded by Melanie Cevetello with a focus on urban gardening and utilizing home grown food. She began her career when she became a Registered Dietitian. Working briefly in sports nutrition she learned the importance of eating for energy. Later, she began working at a homeless shelter as a culinary teacher which she continues today. She also serves as President of her local community gardens. Her passion for gardening started as a child watching her grandfather. Today having her own garden she shares her knowledge and how to make gardening and nutrition more approachable for all.
