Welcome to our new cooking channel, Umma & Halmi, where we pass on the tradition of Korean food through generations & have fun along the way. Umma & Halmi is mostly about halmi (grandma Hannah) sharing her knowledge of Korean cooking to her daughter (umma/Jenny) who shares it with her kids (Harlan & Juni). In these episodes, we speak a little Korean, a lot of English & definitely some toddler-talk. We have lots of fun & funny moments as we attempt to cook!
We are first generation Korean Americans who now live in Minnesota. Join us in our beautifully imperfect & often chaotic kitchen (trust us, life is a little crazy with toddlers) as we learn to make some Korean food favorites.
In the past, this channel had been used to share music & DIY. DIY videos may be sprinkled in with an appearance from habujee (grandpa).
