Hansuh Rhee is a 6-year merit scholarship recipient of the Alexandra C. and John D. Nichols Academy Fellow, is also the recipient of the Rachel Barton Pine Scholarship at the Music Institute of Chicago's Academy program for gifted pre-college musicians where she studies privately with Roland and Almita Vamos. As winner of the Musicians Club of Women Auditions, she is recipient of the Jerome and Elaine Nerenberg Foundation Scholarship. Important performances include concerts at the Steinway Young Artists Series, the International Beethoven Music Festival, Chicago Symphony Center, and performing in Galas honoring Lang Lang, Riccardo Mutti, and Yo-Yo Ma. Masterclasses include Ed Klorman, Ilya Kaler, James Ehnes, David Bowlin, Joel Smirnoff, Yair Kless, William van der Sloot, and the Pacifica String Quartet.
