I had a similar experience with water. I live in a farm community where we constantly have water shortages. So as I was training a new girl at work I got chatting with one of the farmers that came in to the warehouse. We were talking about how we were hoping for a huge snow fall for the winter, the gal interjected said we didn't need it. We just stared at her. Here's how the rest of the conversation went-
Me: "yea we do. We need the water."
Her: "water doesn't come from snow."
Me: "where do you think water comes from?"
Her: "pipes"
Me: "yes, but also very much no."
Y'all I was dumbfounded! The water we get in my community comes from snow fed springs and the naivety of the people that come and go from the area kill me. Please learn about where all your stuff comes from. |
