Official YouTube channel dedicated to Ukrainian animated film history, which started in 1927 with Viacheslav Levandovskii’s «Tale of a Straw Bull», produced in Odesa. The first Ukrainian animated movie ever was a stop motion short.
Primary, channel features animated movies from Ukrainian Animated Film Studio (Ukranimafilm/Kyivnaukfilm), which existed in the years 1959–2019 and is famous for such classics as «Cossacks» series (1967–1995), «Treasure Island» (1986–1988) and «Eneyida» (1991).
The Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Centre is Ukranimafilm’s legal successor since 2019. Dovzhenko Centre is Ukraine’s main and largest fiction film archive and an only Ukrainian member of FIAF
