Raja Kumari is the youngest recipient of the Kohinoor Award for Excellence in Classical Art.
Through her philanthropy projects, Kumari's performances have contributed to the construction of a hospital in Bangalore, and a meditation hall for the Vegesna Foundation in Hyderabad.
Kumari is also sits on the board of the Indic Foundation at the Claremont School of Theology and holds a BA Degree in Religious Studies with an emphasis on South Asian Religion & Culture.
