The women of Somalia have stayed silent for far too long. Until now, they have had no voice, and that is what prompted me to tell my story. It is my wish to empower women all over the world to come forward and share their stories, to inspire them to step out of the cultural darkness that blinds them to the truth, and bask in the light of their God-given human rights.
