Born in San Francisco, CA, and growing up in Marin County, J Mint has been surrounded by a diverse music scene his whole life.
Mint began rapping in high school for fun and quickly fell in love with Hip-Hop. After moving to Seattle, WA in 2014 Mint began to take the craft more seriously and started recording and performing with local artists. In the fall of 2017, he dropped his first project the FreshMint EP a 4 track project true to the roots of boom-bap. Check out his 2nd project and full-length album "Early Mornings/Late Nights" produced by Upper Cut$ and CALMDOWNKAI, as well as videos and singles!
