Tanvir Ahmed is a Bangladeshi Born British Broadcast Journalist. He has 22 years long career in print and broadcast journalism in UK and Bangladesh. Currently he is working with British Bangladeshi Television, Channel S as the Current Affairs Editor and the UK Correspondent 24/7 news Channel Ekattor TV Bangladesh.
Tanvir Ahmed has started his career as a journalist in Bangladesh in the year 1998 with a national newspaper ‘The Daily Ajker Kajog’ as a feature reporter. After that, he joined UK based TV Channel ‘Bangla TV’ as a Broadcast Journalist. In 2005, he joined Channel S Television London as a staff reporter. During this long journey, he has also worked for another renowned national newspaper of Bangladesh ‘The Daily Prothom Alo.’ He has been the executive editor of Channel I Europe. He becomes the Editor Current Affairs of Channel S in 2016.
