Swengere family is a comedy group specialized in theatre drama and has greatly contributed to the growing and confidence of Lusoga language speakers. Our comedy is good for all age groups as it's about family and society, played in a language that isn't stunning to the audience unlike some other dramatical groups. Our drama is purely in Lusoga and Swengere Family has many followers on all social media platforms. The group has been in existence since 2015 and it Consists of Hussein Muyonjo - Swengere a.k.a Baba Kalibbala, Zakia Namulondo as Maama Kalibbala, Mukasa Mudukaci as Kalibbala, Winnie Alifuna as Auntie Winnie and others that act as friends and relatives to the Family. Our video skits are aired on Bukedde TV1 from Monday - Friday. Swengere Family won Best Comedian in the Galaxy Zzina awards 2016-2017.
