Hello Friend and WELCOME to the yarn basket!
I'm a progressive Neo-Mennonite seminary student. I wrestle in the style of Jacob, question in the style of the woman at the well (whose name we are not told) and I'm always looking around for Jesus.
As a textile artist, I weave on a rigid heddle loom in a improvisational style, like jazz for yarn. I love to sew, make hats, jewelry, dye yarn, and paint gloves, shoes, and bags in my colors. My goal is a complete handmade wardrobe unique to me, with a hint of the gorgeous 1920's.
My Austrian and I lived in a tiny house from 2014 - 2018 and currently live a handmade life in a small house. It is our dream to buy land and build a beautiful community for tiny house people. I've written two books on living simply, the first is "Kitchen Simplicity" and the second is "The Simplicity Mindset".
