Sherman Zhuo (卓振声) is Singapore singer-songwriter with an affinity for love songs and R&B. At 16, Sherman took part in his very first singing competition and won first place in 2011. Since then, his dream was to become a singer. Throughout his youth, he worked in F&B, administration and radio. Even so, he held onto his dreams of becoming a singer and continued to work towards it. When he had spare time, he would devote it to his musical studies. Before long, he managed to compose his debut single. Even while preparing for his first album, he still finds time to upload song covers onto YouTube – his cover of Ed Sheeran’s Dive managed to rack in 300,000 views
”Chasing after a dream is beautiful and I believe I will never give up on my musical goals,” says Sherman. Growing up in an environment surrounded by Chinese music has influenced and shaped Sherman to develop a deep attachment with Chinese love songs – a genre he has grown to enjoy.
