I am Deepa Mohan hailing from Thoothukudi. I started out as a techie but as fortune would have it I am now a homemaker and mother of two lovely kids settled in Chennai.
I had a passion for cooking even as a child and had observed my mother while cooking. I have savoured the delectable cuisine that was cooked and dished out by her with lot of love and care. My interest in cooking led me to pursue a training in food processing.
When I started cooking, I tried tweaking these traditional dishes to suit the tastes of my family. The new versions turned out equally delectable and I was egged on by my father to explore further.
Encouraged by my husband, I started this new chapter in my culinary journey so that I can share my cuisine with food lovers across the globe. In my channel I plan to feature tried and tested recipes in my kitchen. I will keep them traditional, yet simple, healthy and delicious.
