I know it's still miles behind android but I'm so glad that we're starting to get some customization options on iOS. I've started to really prefer iOS but have gone to and from android solely to be able to look at something that isn't completely stock. |

An absolutely worthless video. The fact people are praising this video in the comment section is exactly the problem with the world today — confirmation bias. He never showed us any independent 3rd party — or his own — test results to prove fast charging does not degrade the battery faster than normal charging. All he had was some BS claims from some manufacturer which he accepted as the gospel. And he expects us to disregard millions of people's personal experience's just like that. Phone companies don't care if you battery degrade fast, they just want you to buy the phone. Faster you need a new phone, better for them. So your childish claim of "they won't make fast charging if it did degrade" argument is stupid.
And this does not take into account people living in hotter countries. I know most of the western world is in cooler climates, but we near the equator gets 35°C indoors every day for most of the day. My Samsung Note 9 heated up to 45°C even without fast charging. I had to charge at night (even then phone went up to 41°C-42°C), or turn on the AC just to charge my phone in day time. With fast charging on it went up to 47°C in day time, I think it would have gone even higher because it seemed to have hit some sort of throttling limit. Battery barely lasted 18 months, and I only charged it every other day. (Degraded to 55% according to AccuBattery). Even the screen died after 2 years and became green tinted which the Samsung repair shop said was due to excessive heat (I never game or do any other intensive tasks, the only thing that heated the phone was charging) and I had to pay half the phones original value to replace.
Even if you did independent testing of this, you still can't cover every situation in the world. People have a reason to say these things from their own experience. You can't just dispute it by making videos without actual testing just because you got paid by someone (Xiaomi most likely) to make a video. |

I was waiting to see if it was worth getting a Fold or Flip, but the -Note22- S22 Ultra seems like the premium Samsung phone I'm gonna get if I choose to upgrade from my Note 8 this year.
