The People's Report is a multimedia examination of the root causes of physical violence in the city of Wilmington, Delaware. The project includes a documentary film, academic publications, a book, and public outreach initiatives.
For its size, Wilmington is one of the most violent cities in the nation. From 2010-2012 a group of Participatory Action Researchers (PAR), recruited from the streets of the city, set out to empirically document the causes and impact of community violence. The resulting data is groundbreaking, and is being showcased now via this multimedia project.
