Urban Artist Nakary was born in Caracas, Venezuela; decided she wanted to become a singer at the age of 12. Growing up she had always been in school choirs however she was heavily influenced by rap music. Nakary was also heavily influenced by Zion’s music she says “Who hasn’t dance to a song by Zion y Lennox growing up?” She has always admired him for the icon and pioneer of reggaetón that he is.
Zion discovered her through social media she direct messaged him a cover of his song “PPP”.
To her surprise Zion saw the message only hours later and loved the cover. She was so excited about the response that she started sending him her original songs to which he accepted and now finds herself working with him. Her goal is to become a female reggaetón icon, she wants there to be a BEFORE Nakary and AFTER Nakary in this musical space.
