This is not a real star, but one of four gigantic spacecraft from planets within our solar system, positioned so that one is visible from any part of the globe, an awesome sign to the world that an extraordinary event is about to happen - the emergence of Maitreya into public view.
Maitreya does not intend to build a new religion around Himself, nor to create followers, but to teach humanity the art of Self-realization. The first steps are honesty of mind,sincerity of spirit and detachment.
Maitreya's social concerns are reflected in His list of priorities; an adequate supply of the right food, adequate housing and shelter for all, healthcare and education as a universal right. Maitreya will advocate that the number one priority, after the ending of starvation for millions, will be the saving of the environment .

The star
• resides in our Earths atmosphere
• can move, spin, pulsate and blink
• can change size and shape (eg round, diamond, hexagonal)
• can change position in the sky
• can get closer, and recede, at speed
• is very bright and sometimes the only star visible
• can radiate bright colours, often in quick succession
• has been sighted day and night
• can respond to thought: has been known to appear and move when asked
• several witnesses have even seen all four stars together
• is seen all over the world.
